The best season/time for the Annapurna Base Camp Trek

Annapurna Base Camp Trek can be done throughout the year, which is quite exceptional than other trekking in Nepal Himalayas. The season starts from March to April and continues to May (Spring). Autumn (September-October-November) is another great season with amazing Himalayan views. December-January and February months are a bit tough with the snowfall, however, the best views appear during these months. We also organize ABC trekking in monsoon, however, you need to have stuff that stops making you wet.

Accommodation in Annapurna Base Camp Trek

Annapurna Base Camp Route has a wonderful availability of hotels and lodges. However, they are not as luxurious as in the urban area. They are nice, cozy, and neat. Most of the lodges/hotels have hot showers for which you need to pay extra. Attached bathrooms are also available, but may not be possible in all camps in peak seasons.

Food availability in Annapurna Base Camp Trekking

Annapurna Base Camp Trekking is fully loaded with a yummy menu. Trekkers can enjoy a typical Nepali Thali set (rice, lentil, curry, meat, pickle), mouth-watering mo: mo, noodles, pizza, and many more local items. However, local food items are highly recommended as the Western menu will not be the same in the mountains as you will find them in your local place.

High altitude sickness, aka Acute Mountain Sickness, is not a big issue in Annapurna base camp trekking. It is because the Annapurna base camp is located at 4130 meters altitude, which is not so high. • Day 08

Trek from Dovan to Deurali (3290m). 3-4 hrs

    • Day 12

      ABC and Mardi Adventure

We (me and my wife) did Annapurna Base Camp Trek and combine Mardi Himal Trek. First we did ABC and we were not satisfied as the trip was outstanding. Then we combined the trek with Mardi Himal Trek. We were lucky to get amazing weather. Thanks to Nepal Kameleon for offering us the best trip experience. Highly recommended company if you are going through them.

      Excellent ABC Guide and Porter

A group of us (Australians) enjoyed Annapurna base camp trekking in November. We were not sure to do either ABC or EBC. But we were first time trekking in Nepal Himalayas. So, we chose Annapurna Base Camp Trekking. We were properly advised by Mr. Bhanu, who is very prompt to answer. The trip was excellently organized with amazing guide and porter. They were so friendly and supportive.
