Best Time/Season for Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour

Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour can be done throughout the year, however, there is some special time/month/season that offers an amazing overview of the Himalayas and the surroundings.
    Spring Season
Spring season (March, April, and May) is a wonderful time for the EBC Heli tour.  The spring season offers great days with temperatures of 15-17 degrees during the day and around -10/-15 degree Celsius. The entire region to 3700 meters is dominated by lush woods and rhododendron woods. The landscape above 3700 meters is rocky terrain and looks dramatic in spring.

    Autumn Season
The autumn season (September, October, and November) is a wow season for the EBC Helicopter Tour. The weather often remains crystal clear which allows great pictures of the Everest Himalayan chain from a closer distance. If you want to know about the temperature, it remains around 20 degrees in the daytime and it reaches around -15 during night.

    Winter Season

December January and February remain snowy and frozen in the Khumbu region. These months are tough for trekking and the trekking trail is often blocked by the snow. But definitely, EBC Helicopter Tour takes you to the bosom of the top of the world and the snowy surroundings around EBC and Kalapatthar. Winter EBC Heli Tour is bliss for travelers. However, you need warm outfits and stuff like warm hiking boots, woolen socks, UV ray-protecting glasses, woolen hat, and muffler, etc.

    Safety in EBC Helicopter Tour

Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour is safe and sound in fine weather. Helicopters are friendly transportation in the Himalayas as weather changes may appear suddenly. Even while the airplane is not being operated. Helicopters are well-serviced and operated by professional (highly experienced) captains. We don't compromise in any safety matters to our clients and get proper weather information on the Himalayan terrain. On the other hand, the landing altitude is 5500 meters without stopping the engine.

Oxygen assistance is given on the helicopter ride to the Everest base camp. It avoids the risk of getting caught by high altitude sickness and breathing problems.
