Pharping Dakshinkali Tour is a way of going beyond the bustling town of Kathmandu and enjoying the greenery. It is best known for its hydroelectricity. It was the first hydroelectric project launched in Nepal. The Power Station is located about 12 km south of Thamel. It is the second oldest hydropower station in Asia. After this, drive to Dakshainkali Temple, which is a significant temple that people go to for worship. Pharping Hydropower Project
The oldest hydropower project in Asia. It's not in use to generate electricity now, but for irrigation purposes.
Asura Cave and Yanglesho Cave
Asura Cave and Yanglesho Cave are outstanding spiritual attractions in Pharping. They are the meditation caves of Guru Rinpoche, who was re-enlightened there. He removed the obstacles created by enemies and helped to bring the rain back so that the entire land became fertile again. You can spend a while for the meditation.
Dakshinkali Temple
The deity Kali's Temple at Dakshinkali is a huge attraction for Hindu devotees around the globe. People worship Goddess Kali before they start any significant work or buy any new vehicles. Goddess Kali is believed to accept blood from the livestock.
Guru Rinpoche Statue (118-feet Tall)
Located at Pharping near the Yanglesho Cave, the giant statue of Guru Rinpoche can be seen from the entire region as it is enormous. It's great to visit there and praise the works done by Guru Rinpoche and how he spread his excellent work through the Asian continents.
