Upper Mustang Luxury Tour in Nepal - 13 days

Arriving at Kathmandu, our airport representative receives you and transfers you at the hotel and you will get a short briefing about the trip. Overnight at the hotel. 

After having breakfast at the hotel, set out for the sightseeing tour in Kathmandu, covering four major Hindu and Buddhist spiritual sites, along with a historical palace. Pashupatinath Temple (Hindu spiritual site), Boudhanath Stupa (Buddhist spiritual site), Swayambhu Stupa (Buddhist pilgrimage site), and Kathmandu Durbar Square (medieval palace, also known as an open museum) are the touring sites for today. Then drive back to the hotel and take a rest. Overnight at the hotel.

Having breakfast at the hotel, drive to the domestic airport, and fly to Pokhara, which is a 30-minute flight. At the airport, the driver receives you, and the overland tour to Mustang begins. On the way, you will explore one of the longest suspension bridges of Nepal, Bungee site, Rupse waterfall, Marpha apple orchard and Jomsom. Overnight at the hotel.

After having breakfast at the hotel, we will explore the Kag Chode monastery in Kagbeni and start the overland tour, officially entering the Upper Mustang region. The landscape is so unique and filled with amazing rock formations. The first stop will be Chhuksang, and after completing registration, we will drive further. The road is steep uphill, passes Chele and Samar village, and includes a high pass before driving to Syangbochen. Then we will drive downhill and visit a cave, known as Chungsi cave, which is an 8th-century cave associated with Guru Rinpoche. Exploring this amazing cave, we will drive to Ghami, which is an amazing town in Upper Mustang. Overnight at the hotel.

After having breakfast at the hotel, the journey commences. We take the right turn after crossing the Ghami Khola and passing the longest mani wall of Mustang. The landscape looks deserted. We will drive to Tsarang, take a right turn, and drive to Luri Gompa. This is a 13th-century cave monastery, which is located on the hilltop. Exploring the monastery and spending a while on meditation, we will drive back to Tsarang and check in at the hotel. It's a wonderful day starting from Tsarang after having breakfast. It's about a 30-40 minute drive to reach Lomanthang. First, you will check in at the hotel, refresh, and set out for the exploration of the stone-walled town of Lomanthang. Several monasteries, local lifestyle, people's gatherings, and interaction make your trip amazing.

After exploration, back to the hotel and take a rest. Overnight at the hotel. 

From Lomanthang, we drive to Choser Valley after having breakfast at the hotel. Choser is famous for the multi-storied sky cave (Shija Jhong Cave), Konchokling hill, and Niphu Monastery. You can climb up the ladder inside the cave and explore the beautiful valley view from the top story. Exploring this beautiful and spiritual valley, we will drive back to Lomanthang and take a rest. After breakfast, walk around the alley of Lomanthang one last time and begin the overland trip. Near Tsarang, the route diverts towards the oldest monastery in the world- Lo Gekar Monastery. You will be amazed to learn that this sacred site is associated with Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava) and his travels to different places in Nepal and Tibet. Spending quality time with meditation means getting insight into the spiritual wonders, which is a delightful experience. After exploring this site, drive further to Ghami, a wonderful place to stay. After having breakfast at Ghami, we commence the tour passing the settlements of Syangbochen, Samar, Chele, and Chhuksang. After completing the check-out process, we drive further via Kagbeni and visit Samten Thagyaling monastery, which is a Bon monastery in Mustang. Another attraction for today is Lubra village, which is hidden from the roadside. This is the only Bon Village in Mustang with a monastery. Then we drive further via Jomsom, Marpha, Tukuche, and all the way to Tatopani. Overnight at the hotel.

We will have a relaxed schedule today. In the morning, you can enjoy a natural hot spring bath and have breakfast. Then, we will drive from Tatopani to Pokhara, which will be about a 4-hour drive. Arriving in Pokhara, transfer to the hotel. You can enjoy walking on the street of Lakeside in the evening. Overnight at the hotel.

Pokhara is a magical town with abundant activities for a holiday. Pokhara sightseeing includes David Falls, Gupteshor Cave, International Mountaineering Museum, World Peace Pagoda, Pumdikot Mahadev Statue, and boating in Phewa Lake. Besides exploring these places, you can experience the adventure like ultralight flight, paragliding, bungee jumping, zipline, and many more. Exploring the street and nightlife of Pokhara Lakeside is a different experience. Overnight at the hotel.

We will drop you off at the airport, and you will fly back to Kathmandu on your schedule. We will pick you up in Kathmandu and drop you off at the hotel. The rest of the day, you can just relax, or go shopping, and do things of your own choice. Overnight at the hotel.

After the completion of the trip, our representative will drop you off at the airport on your schedule.
