Often the hiking in Nepal is designed for the physically fit hikers. Does it mean that there is no place for the differently able people who use wheelchairs? Nepal Kameleon Holidays has got your answer. Now, you should not give up your wheelchair hiking passion in Nepal. You' re welcome, we have designed a special wheelchair hiking around Kathmandu by measuring the safety plans.
The Wheelchair Hiking Trail
Wheelchair hiking in Kathmandu begins with a 4WD drive to the UNESCO listed World Heritage Site- Changu Narayan Temple. Without visiting the temple (because, it does not have the wheelchair trail), we divert towards the eastern point. Driving a bit more, the unique and wonderful wheelchair hike begins. There will be at least 2 people even for 1 guest to assure the safety and enough assistance. The hike leads you through the magnificent trail, crossing the communities and forest. On the way, we stop for the photo session, lunch and water. It ends at Telkot and drive further to Nagarkot. Nagarkot is a wonderful Himalayan viewpoint located at the top of the green hillside. Having a cup of coffee (or some snacks) at Club Himalaya Resort, we explore the sunset view. Then drive back to Kathmandu and drop to your hotel.
Wheelchair Day Hike in Kathmandu valley is a trip designed only by the Nepal Kameleon Holidays upto the time we have updated this event. If you really want to enjoy this uniquely designed day trip, please, do not hesitate to contact us via:
