Around Kathmandu Culture Tour - 6 days

Namaste and welcome to Nepal. Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, Nepal Kameleon Holidays representative receives you and transfers you to the hotel. After short refreshment, we briefly explain to you about the sightseeing trip and the preparation for the trek. Overnight at hotel. (A)

Breakfast at the hotel. Then we set out for the sightseeing tour in Kathmandu, exploring some of the unique monumental sites that are enlisted in the World Heritage Sites UNESCO. Visit the Kathmandu Durbar Square, which is an open Museum. It is also renowned as the Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square, where Kasthamandap, the abode of Kumari, and wooden and stone sculptures are located. Visit the Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), located at the hilltop point of Kathmandu. The Buddhist stupa and the temple along with huge Buddha statues are fascinating. Visit the Pashupatinath Temple, where Hindu cultural attractions and pagoda-style temples dedicated to lord Shiva are superb. The cremation of Pashupatinath shows you the Hindu post-death culture and tradition. Visit the Boudhanath Stupa, which is one of the biggest stupas in the world. The Mandala style creation, fluttering Buddhist prayer flags, and the mystical surroundings offer blessing moments. After concluding the tour, drive back to the hotel. Overnight at hotel. (B,A)

After breakfast, we drive to Patan Durbar Square and explore the incredible collection of medieval arts and architecture. The temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna. Visiting Patan Durbar Square, you drive to Bhaktapur Durbar Square. It is loaded with pagoda-style temples, wooden arts and architecture, ponds, pottery squares, and many more to see in Bhaktapur. After the tour, you drive to Nagarkot, which is a naturally awe-inspiring site and a brilliant viewpoint of the Himalayas. 

The morning is incredible. You can enjoy the Himalayan sunrise. The glittering views energize you. Then we drive to the Changu Narayan temple and explore the UNESCO site of the pagoda-style temple dedicated to lord Visnu. It is believed to have been created in the early 4th century. Driving to Dhulikhel, you have an opportunity to visit the cultural sites and explore the local town, which is populated by Newar and other mixed groups. The drive further takes you to the Namobuddha monastery. The site is extremely luminous, with a monastery and the cultural setting, fluttering prayer flags and the Himalayan views have offered the monastery a paradise on earth. The tour further takes you to the medieval artistic sites of Panauti and finally drives back to Kathmandu. Overnight at the hotel. 

This is another brilliant day on Kameleon Cultural Tour in Nepal. After breakfast, drive to Dakshinkali temple, which is located on the southern side of the valley, about 20 km distance. The myth of Goddess Kali, who is believed to be happy by their blood, stands for strength and power. Then we drive back to Kirtipur, which is a historical town, populated by the Newar communities. The cultural heritages are dominated in the town to explore. Driving to Bungmati and Khokana, you can enjoy exploring the Newari culture and heritage. You can explore the festival celebrated at Khokana, which is also in dispute due to the sacrifice of a goat. Concluding the tour, drive back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
