Will Mt. Everest Get New Height? The Geogolical Survey Team has Set GPS on Summit

The height of Mount Everest has been recorded of 8848.86 meters. Before, it was 8848 meters only.

The geological survey team of Nepal government has ultimately set GPS system on the top of Mt. Everest after the call of re-measurement of the height of Mt. Everest (8848 meters) done by George Everest in 1956. On 22 May 2019, the survey team climbed Mt. Everest at 3.15 am.

Based on the data of GPS that has been set on the top, the scientists and geological experts from various countries had examined on the statistical methods. It had taken more than a year to get the exact record about the height of Mt. Everest. The record from this Nepali survey team is the official height of Mt. Everest.
