Manaslu Circuit Trek in Visit Nepal 2020

Manaslu Circuit Trek is an amazing journey through the Tibetan Buddhist communities. It is covered by the Manaslu Conservation Area, which is a restricted region and you need to take a restricted area permit. This dramatic trekking in the western part of Nepal adjoins the Budi Gandaki River valley to Marshyangdi River Valley (the ending part of the trek lies in the Annapurna region).

What's Unique in Manaslu Trekking

The route itself is pleasant. The picturesque Budi Gandaki  river valley and the lower altitude forests leads you to the alpine region. The alpine section is dotted by the glacial route with the view of snowy peaks and Lake. Crossing the Larke La Pass (5165 meters) is a challenging issue through the steep up and down trail.

Tibetan Buddhist Ethnic Communities

Deng, Namrung, Sama Gaon and Samdo are the typical representatives of the Tibetan Buddhist ethnic communities on the Manaslu Trail. The ancient monasteries and Chhortens in Sama Gaon and Samdo are outstanding. On the one hand, the territory itself lies near the Tibetan terrain. And on the other, the Tibetan cultural influence has guided the lifestyles of the people around the Round Manaslu trail.

Manaslu Conservation Area Project (MCAP)

According to NTNC, There are about 9,000 inhabitants living in MCA and 2,000 species of plants, 33 mammals, 110 birds, 3 reptiles and 11 butterflies in 11 types of forest have been reported from the area. Manaslu has a lot to offer to the trekkers, from the beautiful scenery of the majestic Himalayan ranges and high altitude glacier lakes to rich biological and cultural diversity. The culture is equally attractive and most follow Buddhism.
