With a great excitement, Holi festival in Nepal brings a wonderful moment with multiple colors. It has become more civilized than in the past that people enjoy this festival by gathering in one place, throwing colors and water to each other.

In Kathmandu, it is celebrated on March 20 and in Terai region, Holi is being celebrated on March 21 in 2019. The tourist hub-Thamel and its surroundings will be full of joyous people with a great pleasure, with a special t-shirt, throwing water and colors. Tourists make this day a memorable moment as they can also have a shower dance in the valley.

Various chowks (junctions) in different places of Kathmandu organize programs with Sound system and people enjoy dancing with the rock music.
