The Holi Festival, also known as Fagu Purnima is a festival of color. Family, friends, relatives and others gather in a park and throw colors each other. Holi is mainly celebrated as a victory of virtues against vices. A mass gathers In Kathmandu Durbar Square and celebrate it, which is also a unique celebration for the foreigners.

In Bhaktapur, the beginning of Holi is more unique and it is related to the porn demonstration. The festival starts installing a pole that symbolizes Phallus of God Bhimsen in Bhaktapur Durbar Square. With a ceremony that includes Newari musical session in front of the Dattatraya temple, it is demonstrated. People visit there and believe that they will be blessed once they observe it and pay obeisance to the wooden pole, which is a symbol of Phallus.
