Annapurna Base Camp Trek: Heavy Snowfall has Halted Trekkers to Reach ABC

Due to the heavy snowfall around the Annapurna base camp, trekkers have not been able to reach the their dream destination-ABC. The heavy snow fall has destroyed many lodges in ABC and also the trail has not been opened clearly. So, the trekkers have been trekking up to the Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC) and back to Pokhara. However, some of the trekkers have been hiking to ABC early in the morning and back to MBC before the sun gets warmer.

How to reach ABC then?

Well. Once you reach to the MBC, you take an overnight rest there. Early in the morning, begin the hike to Annapurna base camp, enjoy the Himalayan scenery and see around at 4130 meters altitude above from the sea level. Then hike down to MBC and proceed further down. As there is the possibility of snow avalanche there during the day, you should hike there early in the morning.
